Stalking with a camera

Photographic stalking is becoming more and more popular and our guests are encouraged to shoot as much as they can!

Our objective is to get you as close as we can to the subject allowing you to get that prized shot. Our field craft experience enables us to get you close to all types of wildlife whilst on a stalk. For some species, stalking on foot is not practical so we have constructed many hides and high seats for this purpose.

From deer to nightjars, rats to bats, we can often get you into the shots you want. Often it is just a case of patience and waiting in the correct place.

Our intimate knowledge of the ground we stalk gives the client the best opportunity. All we ask is that you follow the stalker as quietly as you can. Our aim is to get you in for your shots and then away without any undue disturbance to the wildlife.

There is no close season!! We will take you to some of the most inaccessible places in the local area by 4x4 Foot or ATV.

The Photo Stalking sessions run for three hours plus and our best successes have always been at dawn or the few hours before sunset when the light is most interesting. Any time of the year can produce the unexpected.

Cost of Photo Stalking

The cost of accompanied photo stalking sessions are from £50 an outing.

Our Olympus C750 ultra zoom Digital Camera takes shots of fabulous clarity in low light at up to 10x optical zoom at 4 megapixels.

We are able to use our computers to download digital shots onto CD from our camera (or your own equipment subject to software).
